Snowy BirdhouseI've been living in or around Washington, DC for almost seven years now. And the snowfall has been extremely disappointing. Two to six inches at most, all the while watching locals drive into each other because they don't know how to drive on a sunny day, let alone flurries. Well, things finally changed, and it was awesome:

SNOWPOCALYPSE DC 2010!!!

As a federal employee, I technically had the whole of last week off. However, my particular agency specializes in providing secure communication capabilities to people in far worse conditions. Therefore, we have an excellent telework program. So relax, taxpayers. You got your value from at least one group of people.

Here are a few pictures from the perimeter of my burrow. Not one snow plow for a week. If this happened back in Maine, things would have moved a little faster. Meh.
